Atlantic Re, formerly known as Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR), marked a historic turning point by announcing its rebranding, relocation, and the launch of its strategic roadmap, Reach 2030.
The official announcement was made during a formal ceremony held at the company's brand-new headquarters, now located at the heart of Casablanca Finance City (CFC). This event was also an opportunity to celebrate the company's 65th anniversary.
The choice of the name Atlantic Re is no coincidence. It is part of a strategic dynamic championed by Morocco and draws direct inspiration from the momentum created by the Royal initiative around the Atlantic — a structuring project aimed at strengthening integration, cooperation, and shared prosperity along the African Atlantic axis.
By adopting this name, we align ourselves with a broader strategic vision: making our identity a lever for development, openness, and outreach. Atlantic Re thus becomes a brand that reflects both our Moroccan roots, our African vocation, and our international ambitions.
This new phase is fully embedded within the strategic plan Reach 2030.
This ambitious plan is designed to position Atlantic Re as a reinsurance leader, consolidating its position in the Moroccan domestic market while fostering sustainable growth across Africa.
Reach 2030 specifically aims to strengthen Atlantic Re's position in the domestic market and expand its presence at the regional and continental level.
