Atlantic Re welcomes a delegation of CIMA zone regulators

Together with representatives of ACAPS, Atlantic Re welcomed a delegation of regulators from the CIMA zone. The institutional visit focused on the practices and challenges of the reinsurance sector.
The meeting began with a presentation of Atlantic Re, its positioning and its business model. Several key topics were then discussed: underwriting, retrocession, technical provisions, prudential reporting, risk management, solvency and internal control.
The discussions were constructive. They encouraged the sharing of expertise and strengthened institutional dialogue, in support of a sound and resilient insurance and reinsurance sector.
