As part of the Reach 2030 strategy, Atlantic Re continues its training initiatives by partnering with the International University of Rabat to deliver a comprehensive reinsurance program, led by experts from Atlantic Re as well as national and international speakers.
The first cohort was launched in April 2026 and brings together professionals from several African countries, including Morocco.
Structured as a six-month hybrid program, this training covers the key dimensions of reinsurance and leads to the award of an executive certificate jointly issued by Atlantic Re Academy and the International University of Rabat.

In collaboration with the London School of Insurance, Atlantic Re Academy launched an online training program, offering a learning curriculum for its clients on the insurance and reinsurance professions.
The platform contains 6 courses available in both French and English, with validation tests at the end of each module, structured as follows:
Once all modules and exams have been successfully completed, passed, and validated, a certificate will be awarded to the participants.
On May 30 and 31, 2022, the ATLANTIC RE ACADEMY, in partnership with the firm ACTUELIA, organized a training session on "Risk Management" at the Hyatt Regency in Casablanca.
The training focused on two key areas: "Current trends and the key function of risk management" on the first day, and "Mechanisms and overview of personal insurance" on the second day.
The session was led by Louis Anselme de Lamaze, representing the international firm Actuelia, based in Paris. He was joined by co‑facilitators Anasse Youssfi, a former actuary and head of the Central ERM Department at ATLANTIC RE, and Majd El Ouadghiri, a Solvency II specialist and former ATLANTIC RE employee who had joined Actuelia in 2020.
As part of its efforts to promote ATLANTIC RE's expertise in Africa, particularly in East Africa, the ATLANTIC RE ACADEMY organized a seminar under the theme "Aviation Insurance Training" on March 31, 2022, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The event was an opportunity to discuss the technical expertise of the aviation insurance sector and to explore further forms of partnership, as well as opportunities for exchanges and joint efforts among African insurance and reinsurance players.
As part of its efforts to promote ATLANTIC RE's expertise in Africa, with a special focus on East Africa, the ATLANTIC RE ACADEMY held a seminar on aviation insurance on March 28, 2022, in Kigali, Rwanda.
The event provided an opportunity to discuss the technical know‑how in the aviation insurance sector and to explore new forms of partnership, as well as opportunities for exchanges and joint efforts among African insurance and reinsurance players.
